October 15th is creeping up fast, so double-check your application status to avoid any haunting surprises. When you submit your application(s), you should receive an email from the college saying, 'Thank you for applying to X University. Your next step is to activate your application status and check the portal.'
This email usually arrives within 48 hours after submitting, so be sure to check your inbox.
Once you log into the application status portal, make sure all your materials are marked as 'RECEIVED' or have a checkmark next to them. Missing documents can give you quite a scare, so stay on top of checking your status!
