Daylight Saving Time has had a long and contentious history, with supporters and critics on both sides. Its initial purpose was to save energy and make better use of daylight hours, but its impact on society has evolved over the years. Some eagerly look forward to the extra hour of sleep or evening sunlight, while others lose track of time. Whether or not Daylight Saving Time continues to be a part of our lives, one thing is sure: we are all gifted with an extra hour of sleep and more daylight thanks to moving our clocks back on November 5th!
